Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes, even the strongest people amongst us need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems. Everyone has battles to fight and hurdles to overcome at some point. Whether you struggle with PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, or any other issue, I would like you to know that this life is workable and that the best predictor of the future is not always the past but how we work with the past in the here-and-now.
You might initially be hesitant to seek out help and support for personal matters, but when you do, you will feel confident that you are taking a courageous first step towards getting to a more liveable place and being a better functioning you.
"This life is workable."
I am passionate about working with individuals and couples, and through years of experience, I've witnessed time and time again that we all have the capacity within ourselves to learn more effective ways to deal with the challenges of being a human being and to go through this journey we call life in a more fulfilling and alive way. Through therapy, there is always a way to address the issues you face and learn coping strategies to help you both right now and in the future.
If you’re interested in developing a healthier and more satisfying relationship with yourself and with the life around you, I’d love to work with you and become your go-to mental health support person.
Even though part of you might be hesitant to reach out for help, please give yourself permission to contact me!
Growing up, I was in a constant battle with myself. I believed that there was something wrong with me and that I needed to change myself to be happy, to be worthy of love and to be accepted. I did not have the skills to deal with overwhelming emotions and the way I related to my thoughts and emotions only intensified them further. I was making myself suffer and I had to learn how to treat myself more kindly and compassionately. I am happy to say that I have a happier relationship with myself now and I would like to help you do the same.
